HARLESTON PARK

Public BBQ

Harleston Park in Elsternwick presents a thoughtfully designed family destination where adventure meets tranquillity. The centrepiece playground features an impressively large slide that genuinely thrills children, complemented by water features and sandplay areas perfectly suited for toddlers through primary schoolers. A charming running waterway provides natural cooling relief on warm days, while the park's picturesque setting offers peaceful spots for contemplation. Well-maintained BBQ facilities and clean toilets anchor the practical amenities, with bookable picnic areas available for functions. Visitors should come prepared for the park's notably fearless resident pigeons - impressively large birds that show remarkable boldness around humans. The combination of excellent play equipment, water features, and reliable facilities makes this a standout choice for family outings, though the automatic toilet dispensers occasionally run empty.
